To qualify for the Christmas Match in December 2025 you must have fished six matches between 5 January to and including 23 November 2025

Congratulation Paul Faiers for wining the match on Suday 4 May 2025
Once again it was a cold north easterly blowing across the Paddock at Acorn Fishery, with a great deal of the members finding fish haed to come by.
The match was won by Paul Faiers who had a comfortable victory from Island peg 1.
In the early stages Paul fished the maggot over and was soon into fish he then switched to his margins with maggot and continued to take carp manly from his right hand margin for a total weight of 176-15.
Jeff Grant filled the runners up spot from peg 13 by alternating between the method and the Paste for a total weight of 108-15.
Bob Feltham finished with107-02 from Island peg 4 for 3rd place.
Dave Stephenson secured 4th place from Island peg 34 with 106-00.
Top silver on the day went to Alan Smith who had a mixed bag from peg 19 on the worm and caster for a total weight of 55-00.
